The Animal Welfare Investigations Project investigate serious, organised, and complex animal cruelty including the illegal puppy trade, animal fighting, and wildlife crime.
Animals are our priority, and we take every report seriously. However, if you are reporting a situation where an animal is in immediate need, please contact your local animal welfare organisation.
The more information you can provide, the better we can prioritise and investigate your report.
If you’re comfortable doing so, please include your contact details in case we need further clarification. Your details will be kept completely confidential and will never be shared with third parties. You may remain anonymous, though this may affect the outcome of our investigation.
Some examples are:
- Illegal puppy trade including puppy mills, puppy farming, and third party sales of puppies with a particular focus on where the puppies become ill and/or unwell after purchase
- Animal fighting including dog fighting and cock fighting
- Wildlife crime including fox hunting and badger baiting
